CONDUCTOR
Passionate and dynamic conductor, Eva Patrini, brings over fifteen years of experience in leading wind bands and orchestras, marked by a profound dedication to musical excellence and expressive interpretation. Her journey in music began at a young age: when she started to study clarinet she was only 7 years old.
Her talent and determination soon led her to the conductor’s podium, where she has been shaping performances with both authority and sensitivity ever since.
After he studies at Conservatory in Piacenza, Eva Patrini also studied conducting with maestro Jader Bignamini. She has developed a refined conducting technique and a deep understanding of both the traditional and modern orchestral repertoire. Under his guidance, she honed her skills not only in the grand Romantic and Classical works but also in the demanding and nuanced realms of avant-garde and contemporary music also conducting the Detroit Symphony Orchestra in Detroit and at Interlochen Summer Festival.
Her expertise encompasses a vast operatic and symphonic repertoire. She possesses a special affinity for the Italian opera tradition, with a detailed knowledge of composers such as Verdi, Puccini, and Donizetti, and an equally strong command of symphonic literature ranging from Mozart to Mahler, as well as 20th- and 21st-century composers. Her interpretative choices are guided by a deep respect for the score, a strong sense of musical architecture, and a commitment to bringing the composer’s voice to life with clarity and emotional depth.
Throughout her career, Eva has conducted numerous ensembles and wind bands, building a reputation for her communicative leadership, technical precision, and the ability to inspire both musicians and audiences alike. Her work reflects a careful balance between rigorous preparation and vibrant artistic expression, always seeking to explore new dimensions of the musical experience.
Today Eva continues to broaden her artistic horizons, engaging in collaborations with contemporary composers and institutions, and fostering new generations of musicians through educational projects and mentorship.
